- Operate and drive tow trucks to transport goods and materials
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Maintaining the vehicles appearance and notifying the Manager if the vehicle requires servicing
- Check tire air pressure and condition of tires - repair and replaced if needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- At least 6 months of previous tow truck driving experience is an asset
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- High school diploma
