JOB POSITION: KFC FOOD COUNTER ATTENDANT

Salary: $13-$15 PER HOUR

Title: Food Counter Attendant

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time & Part Time Postions available

Part time hours – 8 to 20 weekly, Full Time hours – 30 to 40 weekly

Salary: $13.00 to $15 PER HOUR

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 3620 Gellatly Road, West Kelowna, BC, V4T 2E6

Skill Requirements: Education: Some high school Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required Experience: Will train

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Equipment: Deep fryer, Grill, Cash register Work Setting:

Fast food Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills: Take customers’ orders, Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Portion and wrap foods, Package take-out food, Stock refrigerators and salad bars, Keep records of the quantities of food used Kitchen Helping Skills: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Handle and store cleaning products, Sweep and mop floors Dishwashing Skills: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units

Weight Handling:Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning
